Family Cook4Good

2022 programs now open for booking!

Kids Giving Back programs are OPEN and we welcome you and your families to join us in giving back to help our communities together.

Help us cook nutritious meals full of colour and flavour for people experiencing homelessness and food scarcity. Meals are cooked in the same way you would prepare for a guest in your home. While helping others, your family will also hone their culinary skills under the guidance of our qualified chef.

What you can expect from us

All Kids Giving Back staff are fully vaccinated and required to wear masks during all programs.

As we work predominately with children and vulnerable communities, who may not have access to the vaccine, we make every effort to care for both our staff and volunteers to ensure meals are distributed safely to those who need it most.

While we are committed to ensuring the safety of our participants, we do operate within a public venue, Paddington RSL, which from December 1st will not require adults to be vaccinated and as a result there may be unvaccinated adults in the common spaces and entry ways.

What we need from you

We require all participants 16yrs+ to be fully vaccinated and wear masks to participate in our programs.

Children under 16 are not required to be vaccinated after December 1st; this is only necessary for our November programs, however we do ask all children under 16 to wear masks along with our older children and adult program participants.

Proof of vaccination will be required upon entry to our rooms, where we hold programs.

As our organisation interacts with children and communities in need daily, this ensures we are taking every measure to protect those most vulnerable in our community.

Covid has highlighted the needs of many, and just how at-risk some communities and families are, particularly with food security. Our mission asks us to build generosity, in deed and in spirit, and we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors so together we can continue to safely assist those most vulnerable in our community!
