Care2Share – Penpal Program – start whenever suits!
Help relieve social isolation for the elderly and bring happiness to their day by registering to become a PENPAL!
If you like writing letters or messages, making cards and drawings this is a great activity for you.
We will assign an elderly person to you who is currently living in residential care or living on their own to become their penpal.
Each week over the next 3 months, you will send cards, drawings or letters which will be received by that person.
Care2Give – 2020
Care2Give is a new opportunity for families and children to āgive backā during this time of crisis in the community for the METRO – SYDNEY area.
Kids Giving Back is working with charities to identify needs of organisations and individuals. We have a range of groups with specific requirements. The opportunity exists for volunteers to collect from their pantries or purchase required items and assemble a care pack. Volunteers can then drop to the nominated vulnerable person or organisation in need.

2019 was a BIG year for
Kids Giving Back,
- we delivered 230 programs
- worked with 7,748 volunteers
- prepared 27,378 meals
- welcomed 24 new schools
- tripled our corporate volunteering
Puppets created and donated to children living in shelters and affected by bushfires!
They stitched, glued, drew, laminated, designed and packed! Our Kids helping Kids – School Holiday program had 30 wonderful young people aged 8-16 yrs busy creating 60 puppets, 2 puppet theatres and 30 activity packs! All to be donated to shelters for homeless families and young children in bushfire affected areas.
Our Helping Hands for the Homeless program made a big difference these School Holidays!
Wow! Our Kids Giving Back team crashed all our records in our Helping Hands for the Homeless – School Holiday program on 14th January 2020! A total of 308 items prepared – 258 nutritious meals and 50 care packs for people living rough on the street. Will2live came and collected all and distributed to some very grateful people. Thank you to all our wonderful young people who worked so hard!

Families make lunch for Asylum Seekers these School Holidays
10 generous families made lunches for clients at the Asylum Seekers Centre. They included Sta and his mum Eve; Inbar and Shaya along with Mum, Idit; Saoirse and Iona with Mum, Catriona; Jake, Jesse and Lili with Mum, Virginia.
Volunteers 14+ for NSW Children’s Week Picnic
The NSW Children’s Week Picnic will be held in the beautiful Botanic Gardens on Sunday 20 October from 9am till 2pm and Kids Giving Back will be there supporting the event as volunteers!
