Care2Give is a new opportunity for families and children to “give back” during this time of crisis in the community for the METRO – SYDNEY area.

Kids Giving Back is working with charities to identify needs of organisations and individuals. We have a range of groups with specific requirements. The opportunity exists for volunteers to collect from their pantries or purchase required items and assemble a care pack. Volunteers can then drop to the nominated vulnerable person or organisation in need.

We will be requiring all volunteers to maintain the Covid-19 hygiene principles and more details will be provided upon registration.

When you register with us we will provide you with the list of items required and details of the location for delivery. An example of items needed would be: Long life milk, Weet Bix, Pasta, Tinned food etc..

Ideally we need these deliveries completed within 7 days unless a longer period of time is specified. No contact with the recipient is required or permitted to ensure we maintain social distancing, but cards and drawings from children are a wonderful and essential accompaniment to the care package!

There is no fee to register. REGISTER HERE

PLEASE IGNORE SESSION DATES when booking – We will work with you to find delivery times that are suitable to your circumstance 🙂

Following registration, should your circumstances change, please email Andi, our Program Support Co-ordinator, to be removed from the volunteer list:

Please Note: This activity is covered by the Essential Services Act – “Providing care or helping a vulnerable person” – which falls under the 16 reasons the current lockdown of NSW permits you to leave your home.
