Connect4Good is a unique program designed by Kids Giving Back. The program gives participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in a service related theme, in a fun and meaningful way.
While exploring the themes of SOCIAL INCLUSION, HOMELESSNESS and VULNERABILITY your kids will make a difference to a vulnerable community.
Connect4Good encourages kids to engage in diverse activities and aims to develop a strong sense of empathy, tolerance and compassion. Sessions also develop a greater understanding of different communities including people with mixed abilities, the elderly, homeless, refugees, families escaping domestic violence, and animals.
Programs are offered in blocks of 3 sessions run over 6 weeks. 8-12 year olds, and Teens will be in separate groups. Sessions are held on weekends in the afternoon for 2.5 hours.
Session locations may vary depending on the theme, taking place in different areas across Sydney. See program information below.

* Who are the HARDA community?
HARDA stands for Horn of Africa Relief & Development Agency.
We have been connecting with this warm community over the last 3 year’s Connect4Good programs. Most of the families came from South Sudan as refugees in the 2000s. Many of the kids were born in Australia or came when they were very little. However their families still face daily challenges such as: housing scarcity, unemployment, prejudice & discrimination, domestic violence, post traumatic stress and mental health issues.
The focus of this program is simply to connect and have fun together!
