How many kids do you know that spend time in their holidays making something that they then donate to another child? We know a lot, including these 30 generous kids who took part in our #Sew4Good program on Tuesday.
The kids designed and sewed a soft toy that they then gave to Jenny from the Asylum Seekers Centre to pass on to kids that they work with. The kids who received the toys are new to the country, seeking asylum, with very few or even no toys of their own.
Heather, 7 said, “I liked that I was helping someone who maybe has no family or friends here to feel welcome.”
Thanks to the kids that took part for your creativity and generosity!
