“It was amazing to be able to make food and deliver it to Patricia but also help her set up her new radio player and tune it to her favourite station”. Words from Ruairi, aged 8, who took part in our Cook4Good program on Sunday. Our programs are all about connecting our volunteers to their community and breaking down the barriers between “us” and “them”; Ruairi describes this perfectly.
Patricia’s meal was just one of nearly 400 that were delivered to different areas of Sydney by our 54 volunteers. Thank you all for taking part and helping us create the next generation of generosity.
