Awesome story in the Telegraph of the launch of our Year 9 Service Learning program at Kambala which happened to coincide with Do Something Day! We are proud to work with the School for the 6th year running to provide ongoing, meaningful, hands on volunteering opportunities. httpss://

The program is part of the school’s CASAK program (Community Action Service at Kambala) that runs over two terms. Thanks to Michelle from Sydney Dogs and Cats Home and Allan and Jen from Thread Together who attended as our recipient charity partners and taught the groups about the important work they do.

The activities described in the article are part of a service learning program within a chosen area of interest for each student. Future activities will include collecting items and making “new home’ packs for clients of Dignity escaping domestic violence; making soft toys for children in hospitals for Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia; learning about the work of Voiceless: the animal protection institute; fostering relationships with the Elders at #RegisManor; and environmental projects.
