These nutritious meals made by family volunteers are desperately needed by our charity partner Dignity, which provides emergency accommodation and essential services to those in need largely as a result of domestic violence, as well as for men and women who are homeless.
“For our guests to know that these meals are prepared by volunteers from the community means so much, it makes them feel like they are not forgotten and people genuinely do care and that in itself gives them hope.”
A special thank you also to our newest Youth Volunteer Angus who was sensational at helping us get prepped and cooking!
We also enjoyed singing Max happy birthday – he chose Cook4Dignity as his birthday treat!
Why not join us for our next Cook4Dignity on Saturday July 27 .. we start at 10.30 am and are always finished between 12.30 and 1pm. Book here https://kidsgivingback.org/cook4dignity/
