Two families (min age 5+) urgently needed this Sunday by House of Welcome to accompany clients to the Sydney Sea Life Aquarium, Darling Harbour. This is a great opportunity for Australian families to meet HoW clients and their children and have a fun day out, and bring smiles to people who are isolated and going through tough times.
When: this Sunday, September 10
Time + Where: 11am in front of Woolworths Town Hall, exit Town Hall Station, Corner of George St and Park St
Your job: Assist House of Welcome student intern with 25 client members participating in the trip: help to guide people from the meeting spot to the aquarium; Accompany them through the visit and sit and have lunch together with clients after the event.
Please note: Unfortunately The House of Welcome doesn’t have the budget to pay for volunteer families entry to the aquarium and kindly requests that families cover their own entrance fee as well as bringing their own lunch.
