A Fiver for a Farmer – help our farmers survive NSW’ worst drought ever | Kids Giving Back

Loads of schools have signed up for A fiver for a Farmer – on Monday, August 13th students will dress up as farmers and bring in a $5 note to support drought relief. If your school hasn’t signed up please donate now httpss://www.gofundme.com/a-fiver-for-a-farmer

This powerful campaign started by ten year old Jack Berne, a Year 4 student at St John the Baptist Primary School, Freshwater, Sydney is being run by Jack along with his passionate classmates.

“We have been learning about the drought and the Farmers and I heard that there are kids that are skipping school to help out on their farms. Kids that are our age! My school mates and I want to fund raise for the Farmers – “A fiver for a Farmer” – but we need your help! …… We believe in community, we believe in having each others back, and we believe in the Aussie spirit. We believe that together, we can make a huge difference to support the Farmers.”

All proceeds are to be shared between Rural Aid and Drought Angels. Read more here httpss://afiverforafarmer.com.au/
