Education, Action, Reflection – the hallmark of our programs

A huge thank you to the two groups from Rustic Pathways who spent their mornings preparing, packaging and delivering a total of 220 meals at our Cook4Good program. Participants delivered the meals to Jewish House, a non-denominational service offering crisis intervention and accommodation. These meals will make a positive difference to people who are homeless or doing it tough, which is such a wonderful contribution especially since it is Homelessness Australia-Awareness week, August 6-12. It was amazing to hear how the groups’ perceptions of people who are homeless were transformed after learning more about issues around homelessness, dismantling previous stigmas, prejudices and stereotypes.
