Families divide up the task of making lunches for 45 – 50 ASC clients. Cook in your own home and then serve lunches together at the ASC in Newtown. Lunches may include curries, chicken, rice etc – we’ll provide you with some delicious menu suggestions.
TO APPLY: firstname.lastname@example.org Please write ‘ASC lunches volunteering – April 2019’ in your email header, and be sure to let us know your preferred date. PLEASE NOTE If you have a hotmail address and have access to another address, please use that instead as we frequently have problems w/ hotmail addresses!
These opportunities are very popular – while we endeavour to respond to each of you individually, if you don’t hear back from us within a few days chances are we’re already full.
Sisters Jemima (8) and Clemmie (6) recently made lunches with Mum, Isabel, and Dad, Rollo. Read Jemima’s insightful interview with Jenny, our liaison at the ASC http://kidsgivingback.org/why-do-you-help-people-at-the-asylum-seekers-centre-asks-jemima-grade-2-in-her-interview/
