Mid Winter Social with Kids Giving Back Volunteers

Thanks to our amazing volunteers who made a huge difference to participants of COA and Jewish Care’s Mid-Winter Social. Jack, Jenna, Pnina, Carys, Rose, Amelia, Sasha, Laura and Bella – you made so many people very happy.
“The event on Sunday was a great success and was enjoyed by all, in no small part thanks to you. The kids you found for us were so lovely, willing and friendly. It was an absolute pleasure having them and they made a truly positive impact on the atmosphere, dancing with the seniors, running around making coffees and delivering food. Anything we asked they very happily did. You can ask no more from a volunteer.”

“It was great to make the day of some of the participants and the people working there were also very nice and helpful. Dancing and being able to talk to the participants was nice also, they all told me that they enjoyed the night, thanked me and others for helping and also made some jokes etc. but mainly everyone there was happy to be out of the house and enjoyed the music, also being able to dance which most of them hadn’t in a while.
