Here’s what volunteers from Stockland loved about our Cook4Good Melting Pot program:

The ability to give back to the community whilst also building relationships with team members. Understanding the different needs in our society and how we can tangibly give back.

Loved listening to the guest speaker as it made it all so real as well as assisting with the meal preparation as I felt that I was doing something useful.

Education, Action and Reflection are just as relevant for “big kids” and are the cornerstones of all our programs.

The group gave up their time to make 140 meals which were distributed to the Asylum Seekers Centre and other communities in need around Sydney. They also heard Yarie’s story about arriving in Australia and seeking asylum. Thank you for joining us Stockland, and for making a difference.
