Having travelled all the way from Wangaratta, Victoria, to participate in Cook4Good, Year 10 students from Cathedral College were on a mission to make sure their journey counted! Working industriously, the students cooked an incredible 234 nutritious portions which they then took to Rough Edges where the meals were distributed right away as both lunch and take away items to ensure no one living rough in the area went hungry on Wednesday night.

The students also participated in an Urban Walk led by Andrew and Tony from Rough Edges who shared insights and stories from their former life on the streets. It was an incredible day for all, with Cathedral College students heading back home knowing that thanks to their efforts members of the Rough Edges homeless community wouldn’t be hungry that night.
