Teens 15+ to volunteer with Foodbank and help feed hungry families

Volunteer with Foodbank NSW & ACT (in NSW) in the lead up to Christmas and through January, so Foodbank can continue to provide vital food assistance during the holiday period. Help with a range of tasks at the Glendenning distribution centre to send food to charities across NSW & ACT. This is a great opportunity to help out during the school holidays.

WHEN: Monday to Friday, 8am to 2pm. Volunteer as a one off, or ongoing throughout the holiday period
WHERE: 50 Owen Street, Glendenning, NSW (Blacktown area, accessible via M2 + M7)

YOUR TASKS include:
– Sorting of mixed food, grocery items and fresh produce
– Packing of Emergency Packs
– Packing of Charity Food Orders
– Assist in stocking shelves
