Connect4Good Holiday Program.

Just in time for the School Holidays!
4 great programs!

Kids Giving Back offers Connect4Good full and half day holiday programs for children 8-14 years of age that provide a range of experiences for children and young people to undertake activities that will assist our most vulnerable members of the community.

All children and young people participating in our Connect4Good program become part of the Kids Giving Back team. Our programs are hard work – lots of activity and a lot of new information is learnt. Our “team members” spend the entire day giving back to others through undertaking activities that will assist vulnerable members of the community.

We encourage participants to bring plenty of snacks (nut free). Some programs have lunch provided but participants can bring lunch if they have dietary preferences as we are not able to cater for specific food requirements.

We ask that all children and young people wear closed in shoes for health and safety and their hair is tied back if participating in a cooking experience day.

For intergenerational events we respectfully request all children be vaccinated for MMR ( or advise us if not) and not experiencing any symptoms of an illness when they attend. This is to minimise risk to our elderly friends who often have vulnerable health.

Bring happiness to others through creating of wonderful gifts to encourage play! Play grows brains but it also important to play as a means of reducing stress and improving well being. Our work today is devoted to increasing play opportunities for vulnerable children and homeless animals.

Join us to make puppets and a puppet theatre to give to children who are experiencing trauma, sadness or not able to return to their homes due to violence.

These holidays with your help (and creativity!) we will make beautiful puppets to give to young children living in a temporary accommodation at a shelter. As part of our work together we will also create a puppet theatre for the children at the shelter to share.

Children will learn more about how important play is to not just human survival but also to animals. In the afternoon we will also make toys for animals that will be able to be distributed to animal shelters and the pets of the homeless
